Nicholas Pooran as well as Rovman Powell tried to lead the West Indies to victory. Bishnoi lost the wicket of Pooran. It was in the 10th over, and then Pooran had only 21 runs. Pooran could take 50 in 34 balls. Nicholas Pooran took 62 runs from 41 balls. Moreover, Rovman Powell acquired 68 runs from 36 balls, and he was not out. West Indies took 178. Ravi Bishnoi sent Brandon King (22) back.

Venkatesh Iyer (33) with Pant helped India to take 88 runs in the last seven overs. Roston Chase of West Indies snapped three wickets. Sheldon Cottrell as well as Romario Shepard took a wicket each.
