India won the cricket match against Bangladesh by giving hope to India in the 2022 ICC Women’s World Cup. The ICC Women’s World Cup 2022 game was at Seddon Park in Hamilton. Indian women cricket team has a 110-run win over Bangladesh. Mithali Raj got the toss and decided to bat. Mithali Raj-led Indian team started batting. The Indian ladies scored 229/7 in their 50 overs. Yastika Bhatia took 80 runs from 50 balls.
Bangladesh batting was slow. Moreover, the Indian team took the wickets of Bangladesh at a regular interval. The team lost all their wickets with 9.3 overs to spare. Bangladesh acquired only 119 runs. Sneh Rana of the Indian team performed well. She bagged four wickets from her 10-over-quota. Rajeshwari Gayakwad supported her by giving only 15 runs in her 10 overs.
Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana started Indian batting and the opening team scored 74 runs. But Bangladesh players came to form and took three wickets of india. Yastika Bhatia and Richa Ghosh added 50-plus runs to the Indian side. India have won three matches and lost three.
India won the match when Ritu Moni scalped the wicket of Jhulan Goswami. Team Bangladesh took 119/10 in 40.3 overs.
The tournament contains five matches. Out of five matches India won three. India stands forth on the points table. Bangladesh played four games. They won only one game. It is the first World Cup of the Bangladesh team.
